Translucent

A close-up view of a meadow in summertime, in bloom and alive.

Story: I come here and look around, unable to believe it is all quite real. This is a place of soft petals and gossamer wings, of things that you fear might fracture if you touch them. These are colours you see nowhere else, at once rich and lush like velvet, and fine and fragile like silk. You can see through them, but not quite, each one giving you the faintest hint of what lies behind it, translucent masters of seduction that draw you in and invite you to surrender to summertime.

Some of the best things in life are fleeting, their beauty transient, their sheer presence indefinite. There are no sharp lines or neat shapes, yet everything can fit together perfectly regardless, even if it changes with the light. Even if it is translucent.
