Story: A few seeds must've been carried away by the wind from the garden to the beach. At least that's what I surmised when I returned to the beach house after some time away and noticed flowers growing along what's left of the wall that separates my little patch of land from the ocean. And that's what inspired the flowerpots. Filled with plants for which I didn't have space in my garden, I carried them painstakingly to the wall, lining them up like the prettiest of soldiers and then taking a step back and delighting in the quirkiness of the display. Oh, I knew the wind could sweep it all away in a heartbeat. But is there anything wrong with making something beautiful, even if you know it might not last longer than a day?
