Small under the Sky

A semi-abstract city under the stars, bridges linking its two sides.

Story: I watch the world from my window, lit by a crescent moon and a thousand stars, the city spires sparkling, lives unfolding behind the tiny yellow lights that shine from the windows, the bridges that cross the city like cords that tie the buildings together, an affirmation that we are all part of the same whole.

Life is huge as it's lived, with events that loom large and feelings that sweep away everything in their path, like tidal waves. But from this point of view, we are all tiny under the same big night sky, and the things that once mattered so much begin to fade, just pinpoints of colour in a much bigger picture. What is suddenly important is connection, and that sense that you are a piece of something much bigger than yourself.
