Story: I keep a picture of that night in my head just so I can look at it again and again. We were on the beach, barefoot but dressed to the nines. As we danced in the waves, I thought I could see forever in the sky – not just space, but time. Do you remember the red dress I wore, the one that sparkled in the light? When I close my eyes, I can feel your jacket under my fingers still, cashmere, soft and fine. There's one thing I'm not sure of when I see that night in my mind. In my memory, there's always a beautiful rainbow, an arch of colours above our heads. All I know about science tells me I'm likely wrong about that, but my heart swears that I'm right. I think that when I fell in love with you, I must've painted my feelings across the sky.
