Story: Today was a perfect day. First I noticed that the tree that overhangs the lake had begun to bloom, the first of spring's delicate blossoms decorating its slim branches with confetti of pink and white. And the sky was clear, no rain, and just enough wind for my sail. And I had no plans, no work to do and no errands to run. So I set out across the lake with no purpose except to breathe fresh air and wait for the sunset. And now I return with a renewed sense of hope, a feeling that everything will be all right and that there will be more days like this one, when I'll watch the sky turn to gold, its reflection shimmering in the water at the end of the day. Yes, today was a perfect day and a golden day. And it promised me more golden days to come.
