Story: I stand on the highest of the bridges and look out over the water. All around me, the city is teeming with life. People are out walking, some with a destination in mind, others just out for a wander. Couples amble slowly, hand in hand; children pull at their mothers' skirts, dragging them forward. I'm not the only one who stops for a moment to take in the view. On either bank of the river, behind lighted windows and closed doors, lives unfold: big hugs, family dinners, squabbles and making up. The city is different at this hour, with a spirit at some distance from the fierce determination of the working day. It is easy to feel happy here now. I look up at the sky and I think I know why. The answer is simple: everything's more beautiful in the moonlight.
