Story: I came here alone in my biplane, just pilot and craft. From the air I can see the vestiges of the past of this place, structures left derelict since a time when a flight like mine was the stuff of fantasy, by a generation for whom this beach held too many memories to serve as a summer playground. But for me, life is about what can be made from that which was once destroyed, about the beauty in things that have been discarded, about taking the past and turning it into the future. I believe in innocence recaptured, in stories yet to be told, in new beginnings and fresh starts.
