Story: Too much of your life is all about staying safe, my baby. You sleep with the other little ones, surrounded by the rest of our herd. And you were born with the keen senses you'll need to protect yourself. You are blessed with a stamina that will allow you to outrun those who wish to do you harm, and you have within you the ability to fight for your life. Already you are learning how to survive, and I am proud of you for that. But I want you to know that there is more to life than survival, little one, and to be ruled by fear is not to live at all. So now I want you to look at the colours that streak across the sky and see only the beauty of the sunset. And as I lean over to nuzzle your head, I want you to feel only love.
