Story: Now we are both all grown up, separated by a great ocean and miles of land, yet still sometimes you come to me in dreams, usually when my heart feels heavy with worry and my mind won't quiet, even in my sleep. Always you are gentle, reaching out with your trunk to take my hand. I should be fearful of the great bulk of you, but I am not. I know that I can trust you, just as I did when both of us were starting our lives and no one could understand the bond between an elephant and a child. Always I ask no questions and let you lead me across the sky. And when I open my eyes, I feel better, certain in the knowledge that in this world there is a soul who sees every bit of good in me and cares enough to seek me out and show me the stars.
