Story: I came up here with a plan to explore the shelf a bit and then jump down again. But now I'm not so sure about that whole jumping down part. Not that I'm a scaredy-cat or anything! It's just that I wouldn't want to knock over a vase or something. I mean, you get upset when I damage your stuff. Do you remember when I used your favourite chair as a scratching post? You weren't best pleased about that... although all I had to do was look up at you with my big green eyes and you forgave me. But I really don't want to break any of your things. So I might just curl up on top of this book and take a nap. If I do that, do you think you might catch sight of me, scoop me up in your arms and put me in my little basket on the floor? I wouldn't mind if you did, even though I could jump down myself if I felt like it. Of course I could. I'm not a scaredy-cat, you know!
