Story: You descend the stairs elegantly, your dress befitting a Golden Age movie star, hair and make-up to match, and I am silenced. You turn to me, a hand on your hip, the other gently resting on the balustrade, your expression challenging. I have been calling out to you, chivvying you along, wondering what was taking so long, eager to get this show on the road. I know this moment could go either way, but I have only three words for you. "Worth the wait," I murmur, because you always are.
