Story: Every writer has a place, somewhere where words flow better than anywhere else. And so, though she has a proper desk, a fast laptop and everything that's meant to make words come quickly, she finds herself here for hours every day, punching the keys of her old-fashioned typewriter on the folding table that sits by her window. She has her usual times to write: the early morning in her pyjamas, when light pours in and fresh ideas spring as if they grew in her sleep; those precious hours when afternoon has yet to turn into evening, a cup of coffee by her side. Yet sometimes words cannot wait, arriving at times inconvenient, when she needs to be somewhere else and is ready, but finds herself here, dressed to go out, but furiously typing words by her window.
