Story:
It was one of those events where everyone was milling around, lots of brief conversations, clinking glasses and laughter.
I had been trying to work my way towards you, to head your way without being impolite, and when I reached the spot where I'd last spotted your blonde ponytail, you were nowhere to be found.
Disappointed, I decided to take a break from the hum of the party, and ventured out to the corridor.
And there you were, doing the very same thing. I called your name and you turned your head, ponytail swinging.
So I will sit down next to you on the window sill and hope that this is my chance.
To get your attention.
