Story: The light hits you sharply, and you turn away from it instinctively, arms folded in front of you, eyes down. But your stance provides no shield, for the light is white and revealing, the sort that is unkind, stripping away artifice and leaving only what is real. I wish you could know what I see. I wish you could know you have no need of protection and no reason to shy away. And I wish you could know that you are beautiful, even in the harshest of lights.
