I can see you weaving your way through the crowd, determinedly finding a path towards me, a polite nod here and there, when you must, but your eyes never letting me go, not for an instant. And I don't resist, pulled in by the magic of being the one and only, and even when you are still some distance away, I lean in your direction and hold out one hand.
