In Chaos

A woman looks down in a moment of reflection. Original painting created in black and white using a 'controlled chaos' technique.

Story: I bow my head and close my eyes and picture a life with no drama, a quiet, uneventful life that was offered to me a long time ago. Just for a moment, I imagine what might have been if I'd made a different choice. And then I remind myself that on every journey you take yourself along, and that was a road that I couldn't bear to travel. I feared it'd lead straight to crazy, with pit stops at boredom and regret. So when I open my eyes to see again the storm that's raging, I'll run towards it, arms wide open, ready to embrace every challenge that it brings. It's in chaos that I find my perfect order. On this rocky road of mine, I'm at my very best.
