Story:
I step outside for a moment, unable to resist the sunshine and the scent of the flowers.
I cast my eyes over the red petals of the wild flowers, and my presence here gains purpose.
Swiftly I lean over and pluck a delicate bloom, before I can change my mind.
I took a floristry class – it was some time ago, to be sure – but I do remember what I learned, and I think I can do it, and it would match the flowers in my hat so well, I just have to give it a try.
So permit me to take just one flower. For your boutonnière.
