Story:
She came to the desert to find clarity, as if there might be answers in dry heat and miles of sand, hoping for a barren place, a blank canvas where she could make the rules.
Yet this morning, she woke up to wild flowers.
Yes, wild flowers in the desert.
There was an explanation, of course.
Flash floods a few weeks ago, water for scattered seeds, germination, desert blooms. So this morning the canvas was painted.
But perhaps that was the response she sought: that there are no answers in isolation, and that clarity comes with carrying on, and like nature, you can make something beautiful out of nothing.
