Story: You mingle gracefully, for it is second nature to you to put people at ease, and you greet your greatest friends and those who are mere acquaintances with equal aplomb, always with that easy smile, warm as the first day of summer. I wait my turn, but I'm impatient. I want your attention for my own, and I don't like having to share. So as I watch you playing hostess in that dress with all the ruffles, all I want is to fast-forward to the end of this party, to the end of this night. Until then, I'll make do with what you offer. Until then, I'll settle for just a moment of your time.
