Story: Our tutus are like jewels tonight, not green and pink and red and yellow and purple and cerise and black, but emerald and garnet and citrine and amethyst and rose quartz and ruby and onyx, perfect costumes for those who would dance with wild abandon. The choreography is complex and just a little bit cheeky, and all of us know it by heart. We must make each and every step appear spontaneous: our entire performance must seem to be a spur-of-the-moment thing at some distance from the discipline that underpins our craft. And we mustn't miss a beat. So on this night we will trust in our training and call on a feeling, and we will make you smile. On this night, we will show you what it is to dance for joy.
