Story: This is the heart of our neighbourhood, where all the narrow streets eventually lead. It's charming but humble: the town houses stand at attention, pretty pastel soldiers, but you'll find cobblestones under your feet. It's where we come to meet up with friends; it's where our children play. Wherever we're going, it's always on the way. Gossip flows here, a river of life. Laughter erupts, loud and strong, that healer of strife. The faces are ever-changing: people leave; return; stay. But this place remembers all of us, however far we stray. Keeper of secrets, knower of dreams, it's a magical place – or so it seems. It's the guardian of our stories, proud of the lives lived here.
