Story: The shoes called her name from the shop window, with their audacious heels and ribbons long enough to snake all the way up her legs. She knew they were meant for her, even though they jarred with her usual taste for sharp tailoring and clean lines. So she bought a dress to match, and added a little shrug from her closet (black, so as to anchor but not distract), and then she was ready: red heels, red ribbons, red dress.
